Another lovely dinner out with our old friends, the Petersen’s. We introduced them to The Wild Grape New West Bistro– located downtown Salt Lake. We love to frequent establishments that are unique and one-off. The Wild Grape is a small, swanky spot. Perfect for small dinner parties or business lunches.

Klint enjoyed the smoked beef short ribs with horseradish crème, sweet potato purée, and sautéed spinach.

Jen reveled in the grilled pork chop with grilled apple, sweet potato purée, and sautéed brussels sprouts.

Brett and Annie both jumped all over the bison burger – complete with apple wood smoked bacon and blue cheese and a pile of the BEST fries.

We don’t typically do dessert, but on special occasions – even simple dinner dates, it’s nice to go out on a limb. The crème brûlée with pears was ah-maze-ing.

We’ll definitely be back. You should check it out as well.
